DENVER – June 21, 2017 – The 21st Annual Colorado Brewers Rendezvous will take place in Riverside Park in Salida, Colorado, on Saturday, July 8. Enjoy more than 300 samplings from more than 75 Colorado breweries, while surrounded by soaring mountains and the Arkansas River.

“Our members look forward to the Rendezvous more than any other CBG event,” said Steve Kurowski of the Colorado Brewers Guild. “This weekend is about business and drinking beer. Not only do attendees get to enjoy a great beer selection and interact with brewery owners, but the festival backdrop is jaw-dropping.”

The Colorado Brewers Rendezvous was created out of a need and a location; the Colorado Brewers Guild needed a place to gather and conduct an annual membership meeting. In 1995, Salida created the Salida Beer Festival and the brewers thought they could gather for the membership meeting and attend the festival the same weekend. The Salida Chamber and the brewers thought it would be a good idea to continue this tradition year after year, and now 21 years later,Salida s still home to this gathering. In 1996, the festival changed to the Colorado Brewers Rendezvous and became a dual fundraiser for both the chamber and the CBG.
