The Louisiana Brew Mile is a unique fun-run presented by Smoke & Barrel which combines the awesomeness of Louisiana craft beer with the passion (or casual acquaintance) of running. This light-hearted fun-run will feature a closed one-mile course on the grounds of the Lake Charles Civic Center, and participants will have one Crying Eagle beer to consume within each quarter mile. If you’re going to be running, you might as well have a tasty adult beverage to enjoy while you’re at it right?! The goal of The Louisiana Brew Mile is to enjoy an evening of camaraderie among friends and new friends alike, while supporting the local craft beer industry, and raising funds for worthy charities while we’re at it! Come thirsty, and bring your running (or strolling shoes). We look forward to seeing you there.
