Boulder, Colo. — On March 2, 2019 the fifth annual Winter Craft Beer Festival will take place in Boulder, CO. The festival will be moved indoors to the Balch Field House at the University of Colorado this year. 55 brewers are committed to attend the event, with an impressive line-up of over 150 beers being poured. In addition to the great beers, the event will feature a live band, a silent disco and food options.

This year, Winter Craft Beer Festival has partnered with Colorado Brewer’s Guild as their non-profit partner. A percentage of proceeds will go the trade association that promotes and protects the Colorado Craft Beer industry. As with last year, only independently owned breweries will be in attendance. “We are proud to partner with Colorado Brewer’s Guild and showcase those breweries that are independent,” says co-founder Ross Bowdey. “This new partnership makes so much sense for both organizations since both have a heavy focus of supporting and highlighting Colorado’s independent craft brewing community.” say Steve Kurowski of Colorado Brewer’s Guild Find a Craft Brewery Winter Craft Beer Festival was founded to be a celebration of winter beers. In five years, it has grown to be the premier winter beer festival in Colorado. “We wanted to create a festival that would give people a chance to partake in some beers that you often don’t see at a traditional beer festival. You will find a good selection of IPAs, Stouts and Porters that you typically don’t see at most festivals.” Every Brewer at the festival will submit one beer to be voted on as best Winter Beer. Festival goers each receive a wooden nickel to place in the box of the favorite beer.

Tickets to Winter Craft Beer Festival can be purchased online (www.wintercraftbeerfestival.com) or at Hazel’s Beverage World in Boulder. General Admission tickets are good for four hours (1 – 5 PM) of unlimited tasters. VIP tickets receive an additional hour, as well as a special gift. Designated Driver tickets can be purchased for $5. All attendees will receive a commemorative pint glass at the conclusion of the event.

About Winter Craft Beer Festival When two Boulder natives started Winter Craft back in 2014, we had the goal of creating an awesome community event. As we started dreaming the vision grew into one that could celebrate the beauty of craft beer, help raise money for a great non-profit & have a day that is truly memorable for all who attend. So far, so good and we hope that this continues to be a staple in the craft beer community and Boulder community alike for years to come.
