Nashville Craft Beer Week Collaboration

To celebrate Nashville Craft Beer Week five local brewers participated in a collaboration brew day to make Collabinator Wit, an American-Belgo wit. Brewers from Blackstone Brewpub & Brewery, Cool Springs Brewery, Fat Bottom Brewing, Jackalope Brewing and Yazoo Brewing Company participated in this Music City collab.

“The beer is made in the traditional way with the addition of Curacao orange peel and coriander to the kettle and fermented with traditional Belgian yeast” says Kent Taylor, Co-Founder of Blackstone Brewing Company. “Tradition was left behind when the group decided on the hops for this beer. A healthy addition of the New Zealand hop Pacific Jade and the American hop Centennial transform this beer into a tantalizing mix of old and new world flavors.”

The beer will be available starting Monday March 18 at the breweries that collaborated on the beer, The East Nashville Beer Festival, as well as select retailers in Nashville during craft beer week.  One dollar from every pint will go back to the Tennessee Craft Brewers Guild, a non-profit organization, with the mission of promoting and protecting the great craft breweries in Tennessee.

Nashville Craft Beer Week will arrange various events throughout Nashville the entire week, including beer dinners, brewer meet and greets, in-store tastings and other unique opportunities to sample unique craft beer. Keep up with the  week’s events on Facebook and NashvilleCraftBeerWeek.com.
