Door County Brewing Company is proud to be a part of The Milwaukee Firkin Craft Beer Festival. This year’s festival will be held at Milwaukee’s Cathedral Square Park, this Saturday, July 19 from 3-8pm.

A celebration of Wisconsin beer, this year’s festival features more than 150 beers to sample, 40 Cast Conditioned Ales, beer exhibits, Home Brew sampling and Breweriana on display.  The Breweriana exhibit is made up of local and regional collectors displaying their “collections of beer memorabilia and artifacts from Milwaukee’s brewing past.” This exhibit will feature antique beer bottles, advertisements and other memorabilia from Milwaukee’s oldest breweries.

When it comes to beer, Door County Brewing Company is thrilled to announce that we will be bringing Firkins of our Citra Pale Ale and Coconut Milk Stout. Our Citra Pale Ale is a bright and crisp American Pale Ale, brewed with Citra hops – this wonderful summer beer has a huge citrus aroma and just the right amount of bitterness. As far as our delicious Coconut Milk Stout goes, it’s a dark beer with notes of coffee, chocolate and a hint of toasted coconut. Our Coconut Milk Stout is brewed with lactose sugar, making it a very smooth and creamy experience. In addition to our Firkins we will also be offering our Pastoral Farmhouse Ale and Bière de Seigle in bottles for your drinking pleasure at this year’s fest.

As you enjoy some of the best beer Wisconsin has to offer, you also have the opportunity to enjoy the company of the brewers, collectors and beer historians themselves. So, grab a beer with our head brewer Danny McMahon or check out this year’s special meet and greet with renowned Beer Historian-Len Jurgensen.

An event like never before, this year’s Milwaukee Firkin Craft Beer Festival will include live music from Zach Pietrini & the Broken Bones and food from Milwaukee’s best like Wisconsin Fried Cheese Curds, George’s Big Dog’s, Louise’s, Saz’s, Rumpus Room and more. So come by Saturday, and celebrate the best of Milwaukee beer culture with Door County Brewing Company.
