Dillon, CO – May. 21, 2015 –

Pug Ryan’s Brewing Company will release two new summer seasonal ales on June 1st, 2015; The Pack Iron Pale Ale and Old Crow Cream Ale. These ales are the first in Pug Ryan’s new seasonal program, created to share brews normally only available at the brewery.

The Pack Iron Pale Ale is a well-balanced American Pale Ale featuring a generous dose of freshly-harvested West Coast and Southern Hemisphere hops that are complemented by a smooth amber malt backbone. The Pale Ale features a reddish-amber color and flavors of light caramel, citrus, and tropical fruit with touch of spruce. Formerly known as “Over The Rail Pale Ale,” the Pale Ale is available year-round at the brewery and customer demand has brought it back in cans to the Colorado market for a limited time.

The Old Crow Cream Ale is a traditional American-Style Cream Ale with a light dash of Golden Naked oats to provide the smooth drinkability that the style is famous for. The Cream Ale features a beautiful sun-golden color and a refreshing, creamy body perfect for summer afternoons. Formerly available only in limited batches at the brewery, the team at Pugs is enthusiastic to share this delightful ale with Colorado this summer.

Head Brewer Dave Simmons has been handcrafting small batches of seasonal brews at Pug Ryan’s for over a decade. “With our seasonal can program starting this summer, I’m excited to be able to share my favorite small batch brews with folks who can’t make it up to Dillon as often as they’d like. This is a great opportunity for us to showcase some rare and special beers which we usually keep in our private stash.” – Dave Simmons, 5/18/15

Pug Ryan’s Brewing Co. and Steakhouse has been a Summit County institution for forty years and a proud member of Colorado’s craft beer community since their brewery addition in 1996. Their handcrafted German lagers and limited seasonal releases are available in bars and liquor stores around the state of Colorado.
