Tennessee Brew Works Partners with City Winery; releases the 2018 Edition of their Belgian Strong Ale aged in City Winery Pinot Noir barrels.
NASHVILLE, TENN. (July 12, 2018) – Tennessee Brew Works, the Nashville, Tennessee based brewer of the Southern Wit®, 1927®IPA, State Park Blonde, Extra Easy®, Basil Ryeman®, Walk the Lime®and many other well-regarded beers, announced the release of their 2018 Limited Edition Belgian Strong Ale aged in City Winery 2015 Vintage Pinot Noir barrels. The release of their 22oz wax-dipped bottles will occur at 2PM Friday, July 13, at the Tennessee Brew Works taproom located at 809 Ewing Ave, Nashville. Limit 2 per customer.
Known for the culinary-minded craft beer creations, often sourcing from brewer and chef collaborations, Tennessee Brew Works has developed a reputation in beer, food and wine circles. The brewery is located in downtown Nashville, just a few doors down from City Winery’s onsite winery, restaurant and venue. Additionally, the Tennessee Brew Works taproom offers two of City Winery’s Nashville-inspired wines made at the downtown urban winery on their tap wall at all times.
Belgian Strong Ale, aged in City Winery Pinot Noir Barrels
ABV: 8%, IBU: 30, DESCRIPTION: Malt-forward Belgian Strong Ale with aromas and flavors of fig, plum, apricot and tart cherry, followed by a subtle dry oak finish. As the beer matures you will experience an evolution of wonderful stone fruit and red berry flavors.
