King Louie Toffee Stout

King Louie Toffee Stout | O’Fallon Brewery O’Fallon, MO

King Louie Toffee Stout offers a velvety balance of dark chocolate, caramel and vanilla that highlights the toffee featured in the beer. For the first time in the brewery’s 14-year history, O’Fallon is releasing a co-branded beer into the market. For this special collaboration, the brewery asked what is arguably one of the most famous confectioners in the world—even given the accolade “Confiseur Imperial” in 1668 by King Louis XIV himself—Bissinger’s Chocolatier in St. Louis, to create a proprietary toffee for inclusion in a new oatmeal stout recipe. The result is King Louie Toffee Stout, a harmonious blend of 11 varieties of malt and 600 pounds of toffee per batch.
