Strangeways Soledad

Soledad | Strangeways Brewing Richmond, VA

On a foundation of a traditional Belgian tripel, we brewed with bananas in the mash tun and then added passion fruit, piloncillo sugar and toasted coconut to the kettle. After aging several months in Venezuelan rum barrels, we added mangoes and mamey sapote to the barrels for the final month of aging. The result is a unique blend of Colombian cuisine and Venezuelan rum.
