Montebello, CA – Angry Horse Brewing is thrilled to announce that Saturday, June 30th, 2018 marked the brewery’s first can release. Just in time for a hot summer, our flagship IPA will be available in 4-packs of 16 oz. cans to take with you wherever you go.

East LA IPA is a 7.2% ABV, traditional American India Pale Ale that has a citrusy backbone. The mixture of malts are slightly sweet and balances out it’s medium body. The quadruple combination of hops gives it a floral and piney character that pairs well with spicy dishes and carrot cake. Beer Styles

Los Angeles County is home to over 10 million people and is the most populated county in the country. With so many people and neighborhoods, Los Angeles has many diverse identities. As Montebello’s neighborhood brewery and contributor to the Los Angeles County Independent Beer Movement, we are proud to have our first can pay homage to our community and our new home on the east side of Los Angeles on iconic Whittier Blvd.

The release of East LA IPA is a milestone for Angry Horse Brewing. “It was one of the first four beers on tap on opening day and has become a local favorite. We’re excited to have it as our first can release”, says President, Nathan McCusker.

“Angry Horse has put together an amazing team and to be part of the first can release is something special” says Lead Brewer, Derek Bougie.

Cans will be sold out of the taproom with future plans to distribute to Los Angeles County.
