Share Post

Eventide Brewing is excited to host a release party for its summer seasonal, Citrus Grove, as well as a celebration for the one-year anniversary of the brewery’s tasting room on Saturday, June 25. The event, which runs from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., will feature live music from Grant Park’s own Jimmy Galloway & Friends. Guests can enjoy a tour and tasting, as well as purchase food from a local food truck. Tickets, which are only available online, are being sold on the brewery’s website and include a specialty Eventide Hefeweizen Glass, an Eventide 32 oz. Growler, and a Citrus Grove Growler Fill for the price of a $30 ticket.

The tasting room, which first opened in June 2015, is regularly used to host release parties, comedy nights, and other special events. In keeping with the craft theme, elements of the room were handmade by Eventide’s staff, such as the metal bar and wood taps. As a gathering place for the community, the tasting room is well used on weekends for tastings and tours.

The tasting room will be pouring Eventide’s Citrus Grove Hefeweizen throughout the summer as supplies last. Eventide provides a unique style to the German Hefe— Citrus Grove is a light gold, hazy beer that has a tang of citrus due to the addition of Sorachi Ace and real lemongrass. The beer pairs perfectly with light fare, cheese, or fruit for summertime refreshment, and has a SRM of 3.5 and an IBU of 14.

Beer enthusiasts can keep an eye out for Citrus Grove Hefeweizen at a growler shops and local restaurants around the city. Eventide Brewing

Eventide Brewing, located in Atlanta, GA, was formed out of friendship and a love of good beer.  What started out as an experiment with a “Mr. Beer” kit while the founders were studying at Georgia Southern University, turned into an award winning craft brewing company that launched in 2014. Now sold in over 250 stores and restaurants, Eventide produces eight beers yearly, including five seasonals. Keeping in mind the company’s motto, Great Doesn’t Have To Be Complicated, the brewery produces accessible craft beer for all types of beer enthusiasts. The brewery’s Kolsch and Pale Ale are available in 12 oz. six-pack cans throughout the state of Georgia year round. In keeping a focus on craftsmanship, Eventide staff handmade much of the building’s tasting room including the metal bar and wooden tap handles.
