Saison named All My Tomorrows available Saturday at Great Raft Bottles for sale at craft retailers starting Monday Label artwork by local artist
June 5, 2014, SHREVEPORT, La. – In another first for the North Louisiana craft beer market, Great Raft Brewing will release its first bottled, seasonal beer, a hoppy saison called All My Tomorrows, during an event at the Great Raft Brewing tasting room in Shreveport, La., Sat., June 7.
All My Tomorrows is the brewery’s first bottled beer, and the first of its seasonal releases. This special release is a Belgian farmhouse ale to which the brewery added copious amounts of mosaic hops. The name All My Tomorrows comes from the idea that this is a beer to be enjoyed every day. The beer combines two of the brewing team’s favorite styles – it is packed full of hops and backed by the esters of a farmhouse yeast strain.
“We wanted to push the boundaries of this traditional Belgian style and add some American ingredients to give this beer unique character,” said Andrew Nations, co-founder of Great Raft Brewing. “Our flagships are approachable, easy-drinking beers so we wanted our seasonal releases to be more playful and imaginative.”
Bottles of the beer will go on sale at 12 pm, Sat., June 7 at the Great Raft Brewing tasting room in Shreveport. Due to the limited quantity of All My Tomorrows, patrons will be limited to four bottles per person at $9 per bottle. In addition to bottle sales, All My Tomorrows will be tapped at 12 pm for enjoyment in the tasting room. The seasonal beer will be available in 22 oz bottles at select retailers beginning the week of June 9.
Adding to the limited-edition nature of the new brew, All My Tomorrows is complemented by unique, hand-drawn bottle artwork created by Shreveport artist Rob Chandler. DeRouen and Co. of Austin, Texas, created the label, typography and color palate.
A limited number of posters featuring the All My Tomorrows design will be available for purchase at the brewery.
