RALEIGH, N.C. (July 24, 2018) – Lonerider Brewing Company, an award-winning company brewing ales for outlaws, announced today the launch of 2013 Vintage Hangman Barleywine. This is part of their rolling cellar series that releases popular styles that have been carefully aged to provide beer fans with a new and unique way to enjoy these award winning beers. This extremely limited release will be available in 22 oz bomber bottles and on draft exclusively at The Hideout (8816 Gulf Ct, Raleigh, NC 27617).

The Hangman is brewed with over twice the malt, hops and yeast of an average ale which makes it a unique american barleywine. The flavor of the beer will invoke a piney/resinous taste along with notes of caramel and lingering hop bitterness. The aroma has hints of raisin, dried dark fruits, toffee and more.

“Hangman was a favorite of ours at the brewery,” says Galen Smith, Head Brewer. “Brewing it was probably just as enjoyable as drinking it. It’s a pretty polarizing style as well. People seem to either love or hate Barleywines. I’m very pleased how well Hangman has aged, and I can’t wait for people to join us as we open up our tasty time capsule!” beer and food course

The Hideout will be open at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, July 24th. This is a very limited release so don’t miss your chance to get this one of a kind barleywine. More styles in this series will be announced through the end of the year.
