Best Practices in Brewery Date Coding Presentation Thursday, April 16 11:00 am – 11:45 am Held in the BrewExpo Exhibit Hall

Learn from Domino experts, George Allen and Jack McMahon, as they share their experience delivering solutions for printing date/lot/batch codes on beer bottles, cans, kegs and cartons and break down case studies of Victory Brewing and Firestone Walker.  An interactive discussion on date coding innovations and best practices will also take place to help you ensure your organization is using the best possible coding solution.

Part of a quality beer enjoyment experience is making sure a brew is enjoyed at just the right time. That is what prompted Victory to make placing a date code on every bottle a top priority.  Victory utilizes 12 oz., 22 oz., and 750 mL bottles, so Domino engineered a stand with graduated X and Y axes to allow for repeatable numerical solution for the various bottle sizes during changeovers.

Firestone Walker required a highly capable application to meet a diverse set of demands within their three main production lines of bottles, kegs and cans. To address their primary goal of featuring clear, legible and permanent date codes on all three packaging materials, Firestone Walker needed a reliable laser ink jet solution.  Firestone Walker and Victory Brewing trust Domino to handle their date coding.
