WHAT: Lumberyard is having a 6th Anniversary party to celebrate the 6 years that Lumberyard has been open, and everything they have accomplished in that time. The beer selection will include 2 Sour Beers that have been cellared exclusively for this event, Double Diamond Imperial Pilsner, to celebrate the imperial beers that Lumberyard is known for, and all 4 brands of cans: Flagstaff IPA, Railhead Red, Knotty Pine Pale Ale, and Diamond Down Lager. Chris Valdez will be the DJ, who has been with the company since the beginning doing everything from bartending to managing to also being the annual DJ at Lumberyard Brewing Company’s Okto’BEER’fest event. Chef Reuben Stoller has created some delicious appetizers to accompany the beer. To celebrate Lumberyard’s philanthropic tendencies 100% of the proceeds from the event will be donated to Second Chance Center for Animals.

The attendees of the event will get to taste and enjoy the award winning beers that Lumberyard has brewed. The readers of the Arizona Daily Sun have voted Lumberyard Brewing Company best bar food for 4 years in a row in Best of Flagstaff. The attendees will get to sample great food created by our great staff. After rehabilitating the last remaining building of Flagstaff’s lumber era, Lumberyard Brewing Company has created a community hub for Flagstaff locals and tourists. The attendees get to see what has become of the building and the brewery in the last 6 years, and how it continues to grow.

ABOUT:
Lumberyard Brewing Company opened in May 2010 in historic Downtown Flagstaff. Owners, Winnie and Evan Hanseth rehabilitated on of the last remaining buildings of Flagstaff’s lumber era to recreate the community hub that it once was. The building has given them a unique space for packaging their award winning ales and lagers. The couple also owns Beaver Street Brewery that is located a block away from Lumberyard Brewing Company and has been open since March 1994.
