SANDPOINT, IDAHO- MickDuff’s Brewing Company is excited to announce the opening of a tasting room at their new brewery location in historic downtown Sandpoint, Idaho. Expected opening time of the tasting room is July 1st but co-owner and General Manager Duffy Mahoney acknowledged there is a lot to do.

“If all goes as according to plan, we’ll have the tasting room open early summer,” said General Manager Duffy Mahoney. “Once the current tenant moves out, we’ll be in and hope to have construction done in less than three weeks.”

In June of 2013, MickDuff’s took on the lease for a 7,000 sq. ft. facility at 220 Cedar St. MickDuff’s moved their brewery into the back half of the building, 4,000 sq. ft., while the current tenant, Pend d’Oreille Winery, continued to keep their tasting room in the front half of the building.

MickDuff’s Brewing Co. has noted that all of their current ‘Muggers’, a frequent and exclusive member club, will all have a mug at the new tasting room.

“The tasting room will not serve food but will offer an excellent alternative for our locals and visitors who are looking to have a quick pint or relax without having to compete with lunch and dinner rushes at the pub,” explained Duffy.

The tasting room will be multipurpose and will feature plenty of space for live music and events. They are excited to open this space up to weddings, reception, company parties and private events. They anticipate the space will be able to hold more than 100 people and the outdoor patio will be a local favorite for the spring, summer and fall seasons.
