A celebration of Bavarian culture, beards, brats and craft beer
Scottsdale, AZ (August 12, 2015)—Save the date, Brat Haus presents, Oktoberfest! Set for Saturday, September 19, 2015 from 11 a.m. – 11 p.m., Oktoberfest will fill the open air beer garden at Brat Haus in Scottsdale with an abundance of festivities.
Celebrated since 1810, Oktoberfest is an annual celebration of Bavarian culture. This year, the Brat Haus Oktoberfest will include a bad ass beard contest, brat eating and stein holding contests, live Polka music, beer garden games, and a special firkin tapping of SanTan Brewing’s Oktoberfest with Scottsdale Mayor, Jim Lane.
Benefiting the ALS Association of Arizona, no Oktoberfest would be complete without a feast and that’s just what you’ll get at Brat Haus. Sink your teeth into knockwurst, schnitzel, brats, giant turkey legs, pork knuckle, pretzels, smoked pig, fries and pickled goodies.
“We’ve always enjoyed celebrating Oktoberfest with our guests, this year is going to be bigger and better than ever with more activities, food, craft beer and fun for all ages,,” said Dave Andrea, owner of Brat Haus.
Presale general admission is $8 if purchased at Brat Haus and day of admission will be $10 at the door. Come dressed in lederhosen or dirndl and your admission is FREE. Oktoberfest is an all age’s event, kids 12 and under are also admitted for free.
