Holiday ales are a big deal in Belgium. Many major Belgian breweries create one each season and they’re often spiced brown ales.

In that tradition, we present to you Father Christmas. This beer starts as a dark ale made with the finest European malt and hops, and fermented with a classic Belgian yeast strain. During the boil, we add holiday spices to invoke that feeling of sitting around a fire during the holidays. We intentionally keep the spicing subtle to just add a hint of that holiday spirit to the beer. It is matured for several weeks prior to packaging to allow the flavors to fully develop. We hope this beer adds to your happiness during the holiday season.
