Stone Xocoveza for the Holidays & the New Year | Stone Brewing Co. Escondido, CA

The Stone collaboration beer formerly known as Chris Banker/Stone/Insurgente Xocoveza Mocha Stout will be making its highly demanded comeback beginning in November (public release date 11/16).

A creative beery take on Mexican hot chocolate, it was originally developed by San Diego-based homebrewer Chris Banker, who submitted his recipe as part of the 2014 Stone Homebrew Competition & American Homebrewers Association Rally.

While the packaging design and name will be different, the recipe for this year’s release will remain exactly the same as the original. An imperial milk stout infused with coffee, vanilla, chocolate, peppers, cinnamon and nutmeg, this cult classic will be served on draft and packaged in 12-ounce bottles made available exclusively in six-packs as Stone’s annual gift to fans in celebration of the winter holidays and arrival of the New Year.
