10 Commandments | The Lost Abbey San Marcos, CA

A Belgian strong dark ale, 10 Commandments, is brewed with honey, rosemary and blackened raisins and bottle-conditioned with Brettanomyces. 10 Commandments begins with a pleasant sweetness from the raisins, followed by some dark malt character and a drying finish with hints of chocolate and a touch of rosemary. A great beer to cellar, over time the sweetness is consumed by the Brett resulting in a drier and more firm background allowing the honey flavors to shine through.
