Central Oregon Beer Week Announces 2015 Plans

Annual celebration of craft brewing will take place Friday May 22 thru Sunday May 31, 2015

Bend, OR— April 14, 2015 – Central Oregon Beer Week (COBW) announces their annual event will take place Friday May 22 to Sunday May 31, kicking off Memorial Day Weekend and continuing throughout the remainder of the month. Now in its fourth year Central Oregon Beer Week celebrates the craft beer industry in a terrific week-long event with 26 active breweries,, locals and visitors alike can plan on a solid nine days of craft beer bliss in Central Oregon. This year Central Oregon Beer Week will once again feature unique SMaSH (Single Malt and Single Hop) beers prepared by a growing list of Central Oregon breweries, including Bend Brewing Co, Deschutes Brewery, Juniper Brewing, McMenamins Old St. Francis, Three Creeks Brewing, Solstice Brewing, Sunriver Brewing, Wild Ride Brewing, and Worthy Brewing. New this year, SMaSH Fest will include beers from breweries outside of Central Oregon including Salem Ale Works and Ecliptic Brewing. These beers will be released at the Kick-Off Event, May 22rd, held once again in downtown Bend at McMenamins Old St. Francis School O’Kanes Gallery. The festivities continue with numerous events during the week including daily brewery events at our official Brew Hub – Broken Top Bottle Shop , live music at Worthy Brewing, the release of the Official Central Oregon Beer Week Beer “COBW IPA(ish)”, brewed by last years SMaSH Fest winner, Sunriver Brewing Co., and more!
