Leftapalooza is back!

(LONGMONT, CO) – Leftapalooza is back for its third year!! Left Hand Brewing Company’s ultimate music and craft beer experience brings together some of the most talented cover acts in the country to help raise funds and support for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. For just $10, concert goers can enjoy a full day’s worth of great music at the brewery as nine bands go head to head for the #1 spot at the Mile High Tribute Band Competition! The 2013 lineup will be the most diverse lineup at Leftapalooza to date showcasing the talents of the Allman Brothers, Weezer, B-52s, Rush, Heart, Steely Dan, Journey, Violent Femmes, and the Grateful Dead!!

Leftapalooza is a family friendly music showcase at Left Hand Brewery drawing the talent of nationwide cover acts to the Longmont stage!! With the first band starting at noon, there’s a little something for everyone as performances carry into the evening, finishing the night with Grateful Dead tribute band, Shakedown Street. The nine bands will not just be battling for the title and bragging rights, but an astounding 1st place prize show at the Boulder Theater!

Our younger friends are welcome too with the Left Hand Kid Zone complete with a bounce house and face painting! Attendees 5-12yrs old can enter for just $5 and kids 5 & under are free of admission. And of course, like all great Left Hand events, there will be great local food and no shortage of craft beer for the adults pouring all day long!

Beyond the music and entertainment, the greater purpose of Leftapalooza is to raise funds and awareness for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. To date, Leftapalooza has generated over $48K in cash donations to LLS with an additional $16K in local corporate sponsorship support. In particular, this year’s Leftapalooza will be honoring cancer fighter Charlie Hooper.  LLS will be present throughout the event raising awareness as well as Love, Hope, & Strength whom will be swabbing concert goers for possible donor matches.
