French Toast Stout is a full bodied stout that offers all the coziness of homemade french toast. Big notes of vanilla are rounded out with sweetness from the addition of maple syrup and a spicy aroma of cinnamon. Brewed to embody every aspect of French Toast, actual French Toast was added into the mash. This beer is suitable for those who crave a pint with pastry as well as steak. French Toast Stout was the result of our first employee beer idea contest. The brain child of two Wicked Weed restaurant employees, Alanna, who now runs our Funkatorium, and Holly, a server at the pub, these ladies participated in brewing what is now our most popular seasonal offering.
