Black IPA Pork Chops and Pears

Use Fort Collins Brewery's Black Sheep, Black IPA to create this delicious recipe for pork chops with cinnamon sauted pears.

Prep Time: 12-24 hours (Marinate) | Yield: 2

Ingredients

Pork Chops
  • 2 or 3 7 oz. pork chops
  • 2 cups black IPA
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 2 Tbsp garlic, minced
  • 4 Tbsp onion, minced
  • 1 tsp fresh oregano
  • 1/2 tsp fresh thyme
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
Pears
  • 2 Bartlett pears, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1/2 Tbsp butter
  • 1/8 tsp cinnamon

Directions

    Pork Chops

  1. In a small mixing bowl, combine all ingredients together and mix well.
  2. Marinate chops mixture overnight.
  3. Remove from marinade and grill for 4-5 minutes on each side (or internal temperature reaches 170°F.
  4. Pears

  5. Melt butter and cinnamon in small sauce pan. Add pears and salute for 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly. Fan on top of pork chops and enjoy!
